Magnifying the Lord

O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together.  Psalm 34:3

Incredibly it seems as though the world’s problems are intensifying all around us.  Illness, pain, suffering, divorce, death, all happen daily without fail.  In fact it is a given that we will all endure some sort of pain or suffering within our lifetime.

As Christians and servants of Christ, we know suffering is a part of life.  In fact, Jesus paid the ultimate sacrifice for each of us by giving his own life on the cross.  So how do we faithfully serve Christ and show his love to others when things in our own lives seem to be upside down?  The answer ... magnify the Lord! 

God the provider, healer, almighty, trustworthy, creator is worth magnifying every minute of every day.  Magnifying the Lord in and through our difficult circumstances allows us to place our focus on Him and not on our problem. 

Our hearts are lifted upward, our spirits are renewed and our hands release control to the one who can lead and provide.  Magnification of our Lord is essential for living a life that continuously brings God glory. 

Brothers and sisters in Christ raise your hands and magnify the Lord today.  Set the example by living a resurrected life in a dark and dying world.  Allow others to see, that no matter how tough life can be, there is always a reason to magnify the Lord.
